Glendale Strong Family Network (GSFN)

The Glendale Strong Family Network is multidisciplinary collaborative harnessing the existing infrastructure and human capital of Glendale to connect families to the services they need and to develop natural leaders to strengthen the community.

A little about ourselves

Picture
The Safe Reductions Initiative, a joint venture of the AZ Department of Child Safety,  Maricopa County Superior Court, and sponsored by Casey Family Programs over the past two years has made impacts on collaboration and efficiency to safely reduce the number of children in the AZ foster care system. The Community Engagement Subgroup decided to focus its efforts on prevention and over a year ago began targeted efforts in the Glendale area. Partnering with Maricopa County Department of Public Health, the Glendale Strong Family Network was born. This multidisciplinary collective impact effort is harnessing the existing infrastructure and human capital of the Glendale area to connect families to the services they need and to develop natural leaders to strengthen the community as a whole.
